Smartlipo Training

smartlipo physician traingin Cynosure, the manufacturer of the Smartlipo Laser, has chosen Dr. Schafer an New Image Cosmetic Surgery as an official training center for physicians and nurses who have purchased or want to purchase the laser. This selection was made based upon the many years of experience that Dr. Schafer has in liposuction procedures in addition to our excellent staff.

To date, Dr. Schafer has trained over 50 physicians and nurses from around the country. Many have extended their visits to gain additional medical and business insight. Visiting staff are able to observe cases in the OR after meeting with Dr. Schafer on the "theory" issues. In addition, visiting physicians and nurses visit with post-op patients in order to review before and after aspects of Smartlipo procedures.

smartlipo training Our training center is just a short distance from San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field) and very close to lodging accommodations. Most visiting staff are able to come in the night before, participate in the training the following day and make connections for their return flight later that afternoon.
